Lotus Flow is a Chinese music producer, songwriter, and artist based in Los Angeles, working across K-pop, Western pop, J-pop, C-pop, and experimental sound. Classically trained in piano from the age of five, she later studied Electronic Music Production and Sound Design at Berklee College of Music, developing a practice that brings together musical discipline, sonic experimentation, and a strong sense of atmosphere.

She signed with Universal Music Publishing Group China in 2021 and renewed her publishing deal in 2025. Her selected credits include producing and co-writing AleXa’s “Juliet,” songwriting for XLOV’s “1 of LOV,” contributing to Santa’s “Train to Nowhere,” producing and co-writing Yitai Wang’s “大桥,” and contributing to “Show Me Love (with Tia Ray),” selected as the official theme song for Team Wolves at the 2025 Esports World Cup.

Alongside her work for other artists, Lotus Flow is developing an independent creative practice that extends beyond music. Influenced by electronic sound, film, visual art, East Asian aesthetics, and internet culture, she is interested in the relationship between sound, image, and the worlds they evoke. Her work moves between the familiar and the unexpected, balancing an appreciation for structure with a curiosity for what lies outside it.

Guided by the philosophy “Expression over Impression,” Lotus Flow values creative honesty over external expectations. Rather than working toward a fixed image or sound, she approaches each project as an opportunity to explore new ideas and discover unexpected connections.

Her long-term vision is to bring music, visual art, and storytelling into a cohesive artistic world—one shaped by curiosity, individuality, and the freedom to create beyond convention.

Some feelings arrive before words. A shift in atmosphere, a lingering memory, a place that feels strangely familiar. Lotus Flow is drawn to these intangible experiences—to the things we sense before we fully understand them.

For her, music is a way of giving these feelings form. A sound can hold a memory, a texture can reshape a space, and a melody can lead somewhere language cannot quite reach. Production becomes a form of storytelling through what is heard, felt, imagined, and left unsaid.

Rooted in classical composition and shaped by electronic music, sound design, and contemporary songwriting, her work moves between control and instinct, beauty and distortion, structure and chaos. Her inspiration can come from a harmony, an unusual sound, a passing image, or an idea that makes little sense until it suddenly does.

Moving between music, visual art, film, and internet culture, Lotus Flow creates worlds that invite people to step outside the ordinary and experience something from a different perspective.
